You think those are bad... try reading up on Angela Carder - it'll make you sick. That woman (and her baby) died after the forced surgery. Fucking disgusting anti-abortion fucks!

Liberals love government intervention. They typically want the government involved at every level, as long as it doesn’t conflict with their personal interests. The attack on smoking is largely liberal in nature, yet the support for legalized drugs is also liberal in nature for example. The liberals want the government to take care of them, but they also want to do whatever the hell they want to do, as long as they can get away with it. Abortion is an easy out because you don’t have anyone remaining behind to complain about the atrocities. The only advocates are found in the pro-life movement.

Mom, why you so angry?

Mr. Anonymous (Jasper?): Mom, why you so angry?

Mellankelly: I guess it would be difficult for you to understand how a mother could feel so effected by a woman being forced to undergo any medical procedure on her body that she did not consent to. The very idea that one of my daughters could be forced to endure a life-threatening surgery because some hospital's administrators (who were also its liability risk managers) decided that due to the controversy regarding fetal rights that only a court of law could make decisions affecting a potentially viable fetus. Never-mind the wishes of that woman in whose body her fetus resides.

" At the hearing, family members, including Angela's husband, opposed Caesarean surgery because Angela was not expected to be able to survive it and because all agreed that Angela would have opposed it. The treating physicians also opposed intervention based on their understanding of Angela's wishes and the clinical status of Angela and the fetus. However, a neonatologist, who had no familiarity with Angela's medical status, also testified at the hearing that the fetus had at least a 60 percent chance of survival (just slightly less than a fetus from a healthy woman at that gestational age). (Other medical experts have since concluded that there was virtually no chance of survival and that the fetus was already brain dead)"

That boils my blood... it makes me want to fight as long and hard as I can to ensure that my daughters NEVER (under any circumstances) are forced to undergo any medical procedure that they do not wish to. The pregnant woman and THE PREGNANT WOMAN ALONE is the most qualified person to make decisions regarding her pregnancy.

I believe the better question would be, why doesn't this make you angry?

Mr. Jasper: Liberals love government intervention.

Mellankelly: Sure and conservatives wish to turn America into a Theocracy... right? Please, sweeping generalizations will get us nowhere. They are cop-outs used to avoid actual debate about actual issues facing us. I don't care if you're left, right, center, over or under... whatever... a court of law should NOT have authority over our bodies. Period.

Mr. Jasper: They typically want the government involved at every level, as long as it doesn’t conflict with their personal interests.

Mellankelly: The hell? Who wants to get the government involved in the personal medical decisions of pregnant women? Last I checked it wasn't "Liberals".

Mr. Jasper: The attack on smoking is largely liberal in nature

Mellankelly: The "attack" on smoking? Listen buddy... I smoke, I wish I didn't and I try not to but I do... and even I agree that those who do not smoke should not be subjected to the second-hand smoke of those who do. Do you disagree?

Mr. Jasper: The liberals want the government to take care of them, but they also want to do whatever the hell they want to do, as long as they can get away with it.

Mellankelly: I don't think that even you know what the hell you're talking about here. Stop. Think. Then type.

Mr. Jasper: Abortion is an easy out because you don’t have anyone remaining behind to complain about the atrocities.

Mellankelly: Says you. Abortion is a perfectly acceptable alternative to gestating a pregnancy. And this part: "you don't have anyone remaining behind" only further proves my point that to you, the life of the woman is insignificant. The woman is there before the abortion and she remains afterward, doesn't she? Am I merely a mirage? Hey, fuck the pregnant woman, you (heart) fetus!

Mr. Jasper: The only advocates are found in the pro-life movement.

Mellankelly: That is untrue. I am an advocate for women (as all pro-choice persons are) - those opposed to abortion are interested in zygote, embryo and fetal life. Lets be honest here, if you happen to be a woman facing an unwanted pregnancy, those opposed to abortion are only your "advocate" if you "choose" the option that is acceptable to them... talk about your "government intervention".
